Religious Services at MUNA Center of Jamaica Masjid Ar-Rayyan
The core mission of MUNA Center of Jamaica is to provide valuable services to its community. These services are meant to foster a strong sense of family and community, provide spiritual solace and a place to fulfill the religious duties. Several hundred people benefit from the services we offer on a regular basis. We feel honored to be of service to our community.
PRAYER SERVICE 5 TIMES A DAY
MUNA conducts 5 daily prayer services in congregation at Masjid Ar-Rayyan all year long. The timing for each prayer is posted on top of the Home Page on our website.
For the convenience of our community, MCJ conducts two Friday prayers. Khutbah during first jama’ah is in English and in second jama’ah in Bangla. The timing of the Friday Prayers are as following:
Friday Prayers During Standard Time
1st Jumu’a: Khutbah at 12:30 PM – Iqamah at 1 PM
2nd Jumu’a: Khutbah at 1:30 PM – Iqamah at 2 PM
Friday Prayers During Day Light Savings Time
1st Jumu’a: Khutbah at 1:00 PM – Iqamah at 1:30 PM
2nd Jumu’a: Khutbah at 2:00 PM – Iqama at 2:30 PM
DISCUSSION ON SIGNIFICANT DAYS
MUNA Center of Jamaica conducts discussions on significant Islamic days, such as Isra and Mi’raj, Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, Muharram, Ashura and others.
